It was toward the end of 2007 when Anton Devenish, Managing Director of Nine-Iron Media, met Tym Scopes at a local Blues Jam in Surrey. He immediately saw a spark in Tym and approached him to find out what he was doing as far as his music career was concerned. After getting together a number of times, they decided that it was about time to start working on Tym's vision and the project was born.

Encouraged by a number of industry veterans to put together a band, the Tym Scopes Band was formed. Completed by Guitarist Roger Quilter & Bassist Dan Godfrey.

Currently nestled into the studio fine tuning their album, the band intend on releasing a handful of singles free online to give their evergrowing fan base an insight into what they're doing.
